My Story:
My passion for this work comes out of my own brokenness and journey. I am a survivor of complex PTSD and have ADHD (just to make things interesting.) I am learning to embrace the goodness and harm of my history while working towards fully living in the present moment. One quote that I find so fitting for this work is from Brene Brown in her book Braving the Wilderness:
"I can confidently say that the stories of pain and courage almost always include two things: praying and cussing. Sometimes at the exact same time."

When I am not counseling, I have an affinity for books that take me to the spaciousness of the land and soul, mountain biking, and finely crafted IPAs.
